New part-time professor medical image analysis

The Faculty of Biomedical Engineering has appointed dr.ir. Marcel Breeuwer as part-time professor biomedical image analysis. Breeuwer supervises a team at Philips Healthcare that works on medical imaging techniques.

Joeri Verlinden (BME student) Best Sportssman of Limburg 2009

In the Parktheather in Heerlen, Verlinden was awarded with the title of the best Sportsman of Limburg of the year 2009. This is in recognition of his succesful swimming year.
