The Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME) offers three educational programs:

  • Undergraduate program (Bachelor, BSc) in Biomedical Engineering - all lectures are in Dutch
  • Graduate program (Master, MSc) in Biomedical Engineering
  • Graduate program (Master, MSc) in Medical Engineering

Various departments of Technische Universiteit Eindhoven (TU/e) and Universiteit Maastricht (UM) contribute in the education of (bio)medical engineers: Applied Physics (TU/e), Chemical Engineering & Chemistry (TU/e), Electrical Engineering (TU/e), Mechanical Engineering (TU/e), Mathematics & Computing Science (TU/e), Medicine (UM) and Health Sciences (UM).

BME is also involved in the Biomedical Engineering Department in Shenyang, China.

The Department also provide postgraduate education.
