Since 1981, the Nederlandse Vereniging voor Biochemie en Moleculaire biologie annually presents the NVBMB-award to the most promising young researcher in the field of Biochemistry and Moleculair Biology. Luc Brunsveld has won the price this year. The award exists of a certificate and a cash price of €2000,-. The winnar is also facilitated to organise a one-day conference on a self chosen topic. Ir. Jannie Wijnen won the Marina van Damme award. The price was a 9000 euro cheque. In total 63 women registered for the price, which was meant to encourage female engineers for their career. Read more
